Negotiation Update May 29, 2008

Yesterday American Airlines notified the TWU by letter that their comprehensive proposals dated May 13, 2008 is now officially withdrawn from the bargaining table. This in effect positions the Union’s March 6, 2008 comprehensive proposal as the last table position. 

During the week of June 9th-13th your Committee Chairmen will be meeting internally to validate our last table position prior to the Company’s comprehensive proposal.

Negotiations will reconvene on the week of June 16th-20th.
